I am a web developer with 13 years’ commercial experience in busy design and development agencies, and have worked on a wide variety of web-based products, both consumer-facing and business-to-business, as well as hybrid mobile apps and data-driven internal business tools.
Having cut my teeth on multimedia design back in the early noughties, and deployed my first blog in 2004, I have seen the web developer profession grow from bedroom webmaster to business-savvy tech professional, and witnessed the inception of now commonplace practices such as responsive design and mobile optimisation.
Outside of web development I am a drummer of some 28 years, an avid video gamer, a keen reader of science fiction, and a lover of film, art, science, philosophy, engineering (and indeed any combination of the above).
